Already received it – been doing some very early Christmas shopping in order to enjoy everything when the holidays arrive instead of browsing sites and occasionally going to stores to find gifts for loved ones.I haven’t opened it, as it’s a gift for someone, but I’ve seen pictures online.The doll is beautiful. Not every edition of holiday Barbie is the same – some are better than others. I think this year’s is more elegant looking – the gold dress and the box’s design really pop.If you have a Barbie lover, they will love this gift.Quality is always there, and the price wasn’t bad.

This Taya sculpt is an instant classic
The only skin tone matches for this doll, if you want MTM donors, are the rare BMR 1959 (KIRA, ASIAN SCULPT) OR RED PANTS YOGA MTM (Alec sculpt with red hair). Not sure any other articulated girls are an option. I used the BMR body to give mine joints and she turned out great when restyled. I literally got her just for the head. But she’s a great display piece as is, I just don’t keep any of my dolls in original condition. Here’s how she compares to her sister TAYA sculpts.
