Good for kids!
Good for 7-10YO and above. Perfect project to take time and learn. Educationally appeasing. Size is small, but expected. Durability is what you’d expect.

Easy build and clear instructions.
It’s works. And fits easily into a bag or suitcase for easy travel to beach, hotel, camp,etc. Also is a great teaching tool.
Surprisingly epic with great bass
I was surprised at the quality of the speaker and the bass response for being battery powered. This is such a cool little set — but if your kids aren’t familiar with nuts & screws, you’ll probably want to have an adult around to help secure it properly. Overall my daughter loves her new speaker. Very cool especially for the price.
Fun little project.
My 4th grader was able to build this kit with minimal help. It powers up, connects, and plays with no issues. These little speakers sound better than one might expect for the price point.Recommend having a piece of sand paper (not included) to help with fitting the body panel tabs. We only had to remove a small amount of material, but this extra step was needed.

Fun … even for an adult!
I had some Van Gogh adhesive shelf paper … and saw this kit. And twenty minutes later – VIOLA! No, it’s not Bose(tm)-quality … but the kit is fun and easy to build. I use it at my workstation to bkeep the baseball game on … or the news.

I got this for my 13 yr old thinking he would enjoy tinkering. He wasn’t interested, so he gave it to my 8 yr old. She was initially excited about it but then lost interest (in all fairness, we were in Big Bear when it was gifted), so my husband finished assembling it. As a speaker, it is very clear and has a great volume range. It is battery operated, so it is not chargeable. It has an off and on switch but does not have volume buttons and can only be controlled via the device that is connected. It is a quality final product and teaching children a bit about electronics. It was a neat gift and I would even say perhaps a 7 yr old would be a good age to give it to.

Bought for our great nephews and it was a HUGE hit. They are 8 and 12 and they had it built within an hour after they got home from receiving. They LOVED it. It was great to see how excited they were to build something, all the while learning with every step!
Great idea for boys!!
Very easy to put together aside from the screw part,my boys are 4 and 6, they had a blast making this. The sense of accomplishment after completing building something is what im trying to instill in my boys. This is one more tool I use in keeping creativity and problem solving skills at the forefront of my boys minds. Only downside is the batteries loosely in the back so I just flipping mine I side and put a strand of duck tape over the batteries so they don’t flop out. But great simple Bluetooth speaker.
