Great gift!
◼️ Merge Cube – Holographic Cube[ $27.00 ]✔️ What it is! – (from the brand itself!)The Merge Cube Lets you hold digital 3D objects, enabling an entirely new way to learn and interact with the digital world.〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️🙋♀️ My Personal Experience! -This learning gadget is actually pretty cool. It’s a foam block that fits in the palm of your hand. Merge has tons of apps that can turn the cube into almost anything! It even has apps that are video games. All you really have to do is download the apps, hold the cube in your hand and use your phone to scan the cube. While looking at the cube in your hand through your phone it looks like your holding something totally different. You can see this in my pictures. Check out my Pro’s list down below!• It’s made of really light foam.• It’s multisensory learning.• It’s a STEM Learning Gadget.• It’s a fun way of learning.• Great gift for almost any age.• Merge has an upgraded virtual reality version of this cube.• It’s affordable.• Really easy to set up & use.• It can be used with an iPhone & Android.• The cube is pretty durable.• Lots of schools use them in classrooms.• Endless hours of fun.〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️✅️ My Conclusion! -I played with this cube with my 9 year old son and he really enjoyed it. He got a kick out of the games. I really liked them too. It can provide endless entertainment for kids and adults too. I recommend putting your phone in a tripod or something that’ll hold it completely still because it works better that way. The picture can disconnect if you move the phone around too much. Other than that, this is a learning tool and it would make a great Christmas present. I definitely recommend it! 👌

Amazing Homeschool Science Tool!
he Merge Cube has been such a great addition to our homeschool setup! It’s an awesome tool for making science come to life. My child loves being able to see things in 3D and rotate them to explore from all angles—it makes learning so much more engaging and hands-on.Highly recommend for any homeschoolers or curious kids who love tech and interactive learning. It’s fun, educational, and really cool to use!

Great for kids
I honestly don’t know what I was expecting. It’s cool, definitely more for kids. I thought if you held the cube in front of your device you would project something onto it that you could see outside of your phone screen. It’s still pretty cool though, probably more worth it if you subscribe because you only get the cube, app and several demo modes without it for $30 bucks. I’d say the value is worth it if you subscribe. It would make a great learning tool for littles.

Incredible and fun learning tool!
This innovative device brings augmented reality to life in such an engaging way. Whether you’re using it for educational purposes, entertainment, or just exploring the world of AR, the Merge Cube is a game-changer. The setup was super simple, and I love how it instantly connects with the Merge AR app, offering interactive 3D models and immersive experiences. For students, this is a fantastic way to visualize complex concepts. It’s hands-on, fun, and really sparks curiosity. For anyone into tech or looking for a unique gift, the Merge Cube is definitely worth it.

This is frustrating
I have a friend that had me come over to show me his new Merge Cube. I ordered one myself the next day. When I received the Merge cube I see a message get started mergecube.com/start with an activation code. I go to the site there is no place to input the activation code. There are no instructions on what apps to download to make this thing work. After playing around on the merge cube website I found some apps to download. The first app is explorer, but when I downloaded it it had a getting started video that would kill the app every time I tried to play it. Then I downloaded another app for the merge cube, but could not get this one to work as well. This second app was for uploading your own content. I gave up and wrote a review on this product, but I used profanity and amazon would not let me post the review. The next day I found a little time to play with the cube. I found another explorer app that I downloaded and this app allowed me to use my iphone to view the content.I do not recommend this product. The instructions are inaccurate and frustrating. All you need to do is purchase the cube, toss the activation code and instructions out. Load several merge apps and now the trial and error to see if any will work. It is cool once you get it to work but it is not worth the frustration.

Good price! Great for kids!
I got this for my son and daughter-in-law and we all tried it out. It was easier for the young folks to get started with it. There’s a good short tutorial that young people just seem to intuitively understand. So set-up is fairly easy. It’s about the size of a Rubik’s cube and feels like a stress ball. You have to hold it so that a flat surface is facing your phone – it doesn’t get angles. My daughter-in-law recommends it for school-age children who can operate a phone. There are some enjoyable apps aimed at children including educational ones about the brain and the body, artsy ones for building things like DIG. We tried many of the free apps produced by Merge Cube and they are good for experiencing the augmented reality aspect, but most are not games. The Piranha and Star Fighter games in the Things app are cute though. We also have the Merge VR goggles and liked the experience best wearing the goggles with the phone rather than the phone alone. Less coordination needed. We tried it with an iPhone SE, OnePlus 3, LG G4 (which might have had some lag time not sure why), and iPhone 6. The SE is small for the goggles so obviously didn’t work as well. All the other phones worked with the goggles.

Activation Code for 3 Month Trial NOT Working
My daughter opened this up for Christmas this morning, so far it seems really cool the only problem so far is that the activation code for a free 3 month trial is not working. I did email the company and the response was to make sure I am entering it correctly, well we have tried at least 10 times about 5 different ways and the result is always the same ”Join Code Is Invalid”. I replied to their response with screenshots and am awaiting their next reply. The only reason I went through with this purchase was the 3 month trial so I’m quite frustrated at not being able to access it I’ll add to my review if I get a positive resolution.

Be ready to install a lot of apps
The concept is definitely cool. My kids recently became interested in learning about holograms so this was a perfect Christmas gift for them. I am giving only 4 stars, though, because to use the Merge Cube you don’t just install one Merge Cube app– you actually have to sort through hundreds of apps and choose what you think looks interesting, and install each app separately. Then when you get it installed, you find that the particular app isn’t that interesting. So, you try to find another. My kids got bored quickly with this process of trial and error in finding a fun app to use with their cubes. Plus, of course the apps that look like more fun cost $ but I don’t want to spend money on an app that my kids may not like or get bored with quickly. So, that part is not great. It also seems like on the Merge Cube compatible apps the main push is for the virtual reality set as most apps are compatible with those, where only some apps are for phone or tablet only. So, it’s a cool concept but basically it’s just augmented reality just like most basic scan apps.
