From the brand

How did we get our start?
MEAVIA’s founder, a toy designer with an autistic son, created a toy brand with Speech and Occupational therapists to design toys for special needs kids.
Why do we love what we do?
There’s no better feeling than helping kids and especially kids with special needs. We love what we do because it brings inclusion and lets kids know that there are toys designed with their needs in mind.
What makes our products unique?
We design toys with kids’ special needs in mind, achieving goals and fun. Every toy is tested with kids, professionals and teachers for top quality.

Possibly the best weighted plush out there!
The media could not be loaded.
I’ve had this elephant for a couple years now and I REALLY love it! My only issues with it (which I was able to fix because I can sew) are the very loud crinkle ears and I don’t like the scratchy sequins. My fixes were to open the ears and cut most of the crinkly plastic out. But I left a small bit in because when it’s MUCH quieter, it’s a very nice, crunchy sound, when I want to hear it. I also added some stuffing to the ears to fill them out.To fix the sequin foot, I simply sewed a patch of one of my favorite fabrics over it.Pros:The marble fidget in the tail is one of those mesh marble push fidgets, so if the tail comes open, the marble will be contained! I saw the octopus had the issue of the marble coming out and being loose. As an adult female, the weight is perfect.I love that the weight is distributed in all limbs and the bottom. I like to pinch the beads. The arms are very floppy and make it feel SO comforting to hug with them hanging over your arms.Lots of different things to do to keep the brain and hands busy.Even the trunk feels great to rub your fingers over. The eyes are adorable.Fluffy tummy.Cons:Pretty much just the two issues I already mentioned.Summary:As someone who has several weighted plushies, (at least a dozen) I think this one might be my favorite! And the price point is definitely worth it and really not as bad as a lot of other weighted things on the market!

Sits up nicely!
Because its weighted it sits up very nicely – lots of areas to explore – i may remove the marble from the tail though just out of fear that he could bite through the fabric. All in all was a super nice gift!

Stitching falling apart
Cute toy my grandbaby has Autism and attached to it right away but the very next day it started to unstitch from the neck area and one of the feet. So I’d say it’s poorly stitched.
