Best toy in 4 years of parenting
This toy is by far our children’s and our favorite toy that we’ve had in our 4 years of having children (technically not quite 4 years, but we’ve been getting toys for about 4 years). We currently have an almost 4-year-old girl and an almost 2-year-old girl, and have now had our 32-piece Magna Tile set for almost 3 weeks. Our girls have played with it every single day, multiple times a day, and we enjoy playing with this toy as 28-year-old parents, as well. 🙂 We saw this toy at our local children’s museum, but when our order arrived that was actually our first time to play with it. We were so impressed that we ordered another 32-piece set. If you are considering this toy and have already seen it or played with it (and like it), you may want to go with
Magna-Tiles Translucent Colors 100 pieces
, as it is less expensive in the long run to buy a larger set all at once. But if you just want to try it out or just want to start small, then you will likely still be pleased with the 32-piece set. It is a more expensive toy than some, but in our opinion it is worth the money. The set it durable and well made and will be a frequently played with toy. We also have
WEDGiTS 20-Piece Starter Tote
, and while they are somewhat similar in concept and mind-challenges, this is a far better toy as far as play possibilities for younger children.I read a few negative reviews that said that the children were uninterested in this toy. When ours arrived, we played with it with our children when we first opened it, so they learned how it went together by observing and playing with it with us. But now they need no assistance! 🙂 I recommend (especially if the children are young) playing with it together at first so they’ll get the hang of it.We purchased our first set from Amazon, and have Amazon Prime. The price fluctuates on Amazon, but you should be able to find it here in the 50 dollar range with free shipping. We bought our second set directly from the company, and with shipping cost included (ours also came with a free gift pen), the price is similar and the shipping speed also fast.

Great for kids
I got these for my 2 year old grandson and he loves them. He builds things all the time. It teaches patience, the ability to sit somewhere longer than 2 minutes, the price was not bad and it promotes creativity.

Hours of Fun for all Ages!
We first purchased these for my two year old. I wanted something a little different than legos but still encouraging imagination. They are perfect for little ones with their large size and easy to use for all ages.Even though we bought them for our little one, my 8 year old still plays with them weekly. They build castles on the corners of our walls to garages for their cars.We loved them so much we bought more for Christmas this year and we are giving the magnetic cars a try as well.I know they are a bit costly but we have had no troubles. Great quality and worth the price.

Fantastic STEM Toy
I am a teacher and I have had Magna-tiles in my classroom for five years now. They get played with (and abused) every single day. While a couple of them have cracked, none of them have truly broken to the point of being unusable and no magnets have ever come loose.Off brand products have been donated to me, but they have all broken or don’t function nearly as well.I just recently purchased this product for my two year old niece as a gift after she had enjoyed them at her daycare. While she doesn’t get much use of out building with them yet, she really enjoys stacking them together and knocking them over. I am not worried about the magnets coming loose, as they are very well made. I am sure this is a toy that will grow with her and she will enjoy for many years to come!

Great creative gift
Huge hit with my 3-year old granddaughter. The magnetic tiles encourage imaginative play and critical thinking, as she sorts similar colors/shapes to combine into structures. (They’re also fun for the grownups.) I was impressed with the strength of the magnets: strong enough to hold together structures, yet easily pulled apart by a child.
