AG doll and dance set
She is so cute. It’s a nice set. I’m very pleased. The clothes are well made with lots of sequins. The colors are beautiful. The only thing I take exception to is the hair. Her hair doesn’t come in a bun and it has red streaks in it. It’s not completely dark. It’s different and I like it so I didn’t return mine. But I think they could have been more specific in the description.She’s a beautiful doll and she’ll provide endless fun.

Well worth it!The doll is simply stunning. Doll125 has a fair complexion, long curly blonde hair and hazel eyes that are also passable for green.The doll has a soft core and vinyl limbs and head. Her hair is gorgeous and can easily be brought to life over and over again with an American Girl doll brush with wire bristles and copious amounts of water to spray her tendrils. The beauty of AG dolls are their amazing wigs. The hair if cared for properly makes the dolls well worth it and heirloom quality. These are highly sought after for good reason. The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding and exceeds the other brands by leaps and bounds.American Girl also offers the doll hospital for any doll injuries! For a cost you can ship your doll back for repairs should anything occur. Having an AG doll also opens the door to be able to take your doll to an ag store for a salon appointment- something you can’t do with just any doll!This bundle offers a good variety of outfit options for the price. If sold separately this is worth well over 200. The dance theme and array are just lovely! I am a huge fan of the purple, pink and teal hues.The doll while quite an investment makes a great gift and is something that can be passed down and enjoyed for years to come.I personally love the dance box that comes with this bundle. It acts a a small storage vessel for all the dolls accessories. Everything just works with this bundle. 2 pairs of shoes, 2 skirts, 2 leotards, 1 pair tights, 1 pair socks, a bow, underwear and a vest. Everything to take her from rehearsals to recital!Well worth it. Exceeded expectations.

Wonderful set, would make an excellent gift
This is such a cute set! I don’t have tm 125, so getting her as a set feels like a win-win for me. The quality is great and the doll can hold up to playtime, they’re made very well and are quite durable, although the vinyl does scratch up , but most of those marks can be dealt with a magic eraser. Her eyes stare straight ahead, and the detail of the face paint is perfect. Hair is thick, love the waves, no issues. The outfit and the extras are so cute! I’m a collector, so I wont be ‘playing’ with her, but will be changing out her outfit for time to time. Her cloth body torso is a lot slimmer in size than my older American Girl/Pleasant Company era dolls, so these outfits don’t fit them, but they do fit the more recent dolls. A bit of a bummer that I can’t dress up my older dolls with the newer outfits from AG, but I can’t take a star away for that. Things change! Can’t expect the dolls from 1987 to be the exact copies of the 2025 dolls. Overall, very happy with my tm125, and her entire dance set! Would recommend it 100%, good value for the extras, would be a great gift for a kid or collector.

Complete set for the little dancer in your life
This is a great comprehensive American girl doll kit. It comes with the doll, two leotards, a vest, a tutu, a skirt, a pair of underwear, a pair of tights, a pair of ballet slippers, a pair of socks, sneakers, and even a hair bow. The doll can go everything from rehearsal to recital which is pretty cool. The colors are bright and relatively neutral in terms of being blue, purple, pinks, and white. They’re a really nice touches to the clothes, one of the things that I really liked was the flesh toned piece of material sleeveless shirt that was placed underneath the costume, it mimics real life dancers and ice skaters and is a nice touch. The clothes are well stitched, the stitches are even the seams lay flat. The material is even colored throughout and any fan of American girl would be happy to receive this.The set is currently $165 which I think is fair. Considering you get the doll and so many clothes, range of activities a kid can have playing with. This is very broad making it a good value for the money. The clothes come on and off relatively easily so even small fingers are able to play without needing adult support.

Beautiful Set, Great Gift for a Dancer
My daughters have several American Girl dolls. They are more on the pricey side, but they are great quality. A few of my daughters’ dolls are vintage, and they have held up really well.This set is perfect for a child that likes dance. The doll comes with several different accessories. I really love the outfit she comes in, because it is a mix of purple and blue which is also reflected in the multi-color of the tulle skirt. It is even prettier in person than it is in the product photos. The doll is blonde and her hair is long with loose curls. Her eyes are listed as Hazel. I feel like the look more dark green in person and more brown in the product photos. I don’t really see the blend of brown, green & gold, but her eyes are pretty! I took some close-up photos to show detail.She comes with a practice dance outfit and a mix of pieces that could reflect a stage performance or just an everyday outfit that has a little bit of a dancer vibe to it. Everything she comes with is really color-coordinated with the purple & blue theme, except for her leotard which is classic pink. I know that my daughter will adore her when she gets her for her upcoming birthday!I look at reviews a lot while shopping. I hope this review helps!

This Truly Me girl is so beautiful! My daughter is absolutely obsessed with AG and of all the other doll makers, none compare to their superior quality. This doll has a beautiful look, with her smooth blonde hair and hazel eyes. I will say that her hair quality is excellent. We ordered the collector’s edition Elsa doll for my daughter’s birthday, and I was very disappointed with her hair quality. It is frizzy at the ends, and it just looks dry and has an unpleasant hand feel. This doll’s hair feels silky and luxe, as with our other dolls, so I was very relieved to see the quality on par with our expectations. The length of her hair is generous, and the options for styling are limited only by the imagination. Her clothing is very luxuriant! The quality is just SO GOOD, and with all the pieces you can create lots of combinations and looks. It sort of reminds me of the Barbie Day-To-Night set, that you can mix & match with more traditional pieces and funky pieces. American Girl is a leading brand for good reason. The designs and quality, along with the “story,” create this magical world for my daughter, and overall we are just so happy to have added this girl the her collection. She’s absolutely stunning!

Well Designed, Quality Doll
Speaking as an adult collector that also has a little girl: Truly Me #125 is a really beautiful doll. Her eyes are a nice medium green (almost hazel), and her hair is a neutral looking medium shade of blonde, both of which compliment her light peachy colored lips and medium-light skin tone very well. She uses one of the more popular head molds, also shared with dolls such as Josefina and Julie.The ballet clothing set itself is very thoughtfully designed. I’d have gone nuts for this as a child! The colors, while pretty and feminine, are appealing to girls, but are also varied enough (i.e. aren’t all pink) that they don’t look like the pink aisle of the toy section exploded. Lots of sequins, but at least those don’t shed like glitter!Overall this is an excellent set that any girl — and some adult collectors! — would love. I would be careful if you are giving this to a younger girl though. #125 has beautiful hair, but it is quite long and curly and will require careful handling and maintenance if you don’t want it to turn into a messy disaster. If your girl doesn’t have a doll wig brush already (AG makes one), this is your reminder to buy one!

Beautiful doll with lovely clothes
Absolutely stunning 18″ doll! This doll is fabulous and comes with such a neat set – the outfit she is wearing plus a box to keep her things in, which include an additional pair of shoes, another skirt, a jacket, socks, and a leotard. The clothes are well made and simply adorable in lovely pink, purple and blue tones – and I love all the sequins! These American Girl dolls are well made and will last for years, so although the price seems high, the quality and lasting durability of the dolls makes it worth it (and if there are any problems, the American Girl doll hospital can help)!I am so happy with this doll – her beautiful hair, lovely eye color – but I was a little disappointed that her box is not the typical AG box as it is expanded to hold her extra clothing. But the extra clothing sure is nice and is a nice bonus for the doll. So, I highly recommend this doll – she makes a perfect gift for a little girl.
