    Great purchase for the money

We loved this kitchen set! Its taller than other sets, its sturdy -easy to put together but definitely needs two people. It has many lights and sounds that are already hooked up you just put the batteries in. Fabulous value.

    Defective microwave piece

Im more than half way done building the kitchen over an hour of work and when I went to put the battery operated microwave piece in it’s not working. Is there any way to get just that piece replaced? I really don’t want to have to take this whole entire kitchen apart, but my son is devastated it’s not working.

    Not perfect but still good

This kitchen is the perfect size for a toddler and it’s very cute! Assembly took about 2 hours. Ours did come with instructions, I noticed other reviews said theirs didn’t. All the pieces were properly labeled and we weren’t missing anything from ours. The wood pieces are pretty nice and there are no issues with the paint or anything! But the plastic pieces that take batteries only work sometimes. The stove buttons sometimes need to be pressed a couple times before the stove will light up and make sound. The oven hood doesn’t work at all. It has buttons but nothing happens when we press them, and we did put the batteries in so that’s not the issue. All the doors have magnets to close them which is great, they stay shut nicely and aren’t hard for our 2 year old to open. The microwave has a light inside which is a cute touch! So there are some slight imperfections, I wouldn’t give this 5 stars but it’s still a great toy! Our daughter isn’t bothered by the little issues and she absolutely loves it.Edit: After only 2 months of having this, the door under the sink was able to be ripped off. My 2 year old had a friend over to play who was 3 or 4 so I’m not sure which of the two broke the door off but it happened during the time her friend was over. But either way, the wood split open and broke off which caused the whole door to fall off. We tried to use wood glue to put it back together then put the door back on but it easily broke again. Disappointing! Guess the wood isn’t great quality since a toddler is able to split it right open

    Amazon’s Services Are Highly Disappointing

This is directed to Amazon itself and not the actual product. Product was very cute and a great price-the issue was after we received the item and took hours to assemble we noticed hair line fracture looking cracks on both sides of the fridge compartment. We took pictures and planned to return the item-but Amazon made this return process extremely difficult. Which is greatly disappointing. The only option Amazon gave us for the damaged product was for us to physically take hours to take it apart-get a box to packaged it in since box was already damaged during delivery. And either have UPS pick it up or haul it to a UPS store. Our issue was us having to take hours to take it apart. When I called I was told by Amazon that UPS would disassemble the kitchen, package it and take it away. After talking to UPS they said they would not do that. I called Amazon back and explained they misinformed me. I was then told that Amazon would give a full refund for the product and not require it to be returned and I would get an email in 48hours. This was also incorrect information which I found out after calling in 4 different times retelling my story and being disconnected twice. On my final call the lady cleared up all info. It was frustrating and upsetting to not only get incorrect and false information but even more upsetting that they didn’t offer other options like a credit/discount for the damaged item if kept or the choice to have a new one shipped to me before the other was returned. At least that would have made me feel a little better. Instead I would have to take hours to disassemble, find a big enough box to put it in and then wait till after Amazon received the return to even get my money refunded back to me Before I could even try to repurchase a new one. This has been such a disappointing experience and I sadly wouldn’t recommend Amazon like I have in the past-and it’s had me consider if I should even continue using it. I also have other issues that I will comment on other products of experiences I’m going through currently as well from Amazon. I use to use it because it was convenient, easy, cheaper, and had great results and experiences and now with how things are handled I don’t feel that way. It sucks being in a place that is rural as well because buying on Amazon was way better than buying locally but I feel like it’s changed and it sucks for us customers who actually liked and appreciated the services before.

Your little one will love it!!

I’m not the review-writing type, but I think this kitchen is so adorable for the little ones.Everything was packaged with care and none of the pieces were damaged in transit (thank goodness). As pictured, there’s a fridge and freezer, and it comes with “ice cubes” for enhanced pretend play. The microwave and burners light up, as does the light over the stove. One of the buttons turns on the pretend exhaust fan, which omg, I never had that in my toy kitchen as a kid. It also comes with adjustable hooks, a pot w/lid, a sauté pan, and two kitchen utensils. All parts that require batteries are included in the packaging (thanks, Amazon!). All in all, it took my about 2.5 hours to assemble, and that’s because my power screwdriver died on me. It’s much easier to assemble with a power screwdriver than manual. Of course all hardware is included as well. The instructions are all pictures, so be sure to pay attention to small details to make your assembly seamless. My little one has already started playing with it and LOVES it. What an awesome Christmas gift (in this case), but a cute and affordable gift for the kid(s) in your life to help expand their imagination.

    Perfect for Toddler

We are so impressed! I spent hours shopping for and comparing various kitchens, but this was a great buy for a Christmas budget. The kitchen is sturdy and was very easy to assemble. It took a little over an hour to tag-team. The lights and sounds are a must for little ones. The size is perfect for or two year old and big enough for creative play for hours. I’m glad I didn’t buy into the corner kitchen because this one saves space and has plenty of storage and features. Don’t think twice and waste time searching. It’s easy to get carried away, and this kitchen has everything you really need.My only suggested upgrades include the sink which doesn’t stay in place and the oven door which doesn’t stay shut. We taped down the oven light button to avoid burnout of the light and/or batteries. Both are minor.

Fun toy kitchen, but door fell off

The media could not be loaded.

We’ve had this for a while now so I feel like I can leave an accurate review. It’s one of our most used toys daily so we get a lot of enjoyment out of it. It seems a little cheapy in its quality and is very minimalist looking. It could be enhanced by your own decorating if you wanted. It was a bit time consuming to put together but not hard. It’s a good size, my very tall 3 year old still has plenty of room to grow and use it. The doors have issues staying closed sometimes but just needs a little push.EDIT: literally 5 minutes after I wrote my review, the door broke off. My son opened it and it just ripped. Gotta drop my review down a couple stars for that. Real bummer!!

    Lovely product but missing screws

Beautiful product. Right size for our 3 yr old and she’s been loving it. Only issue I had was that some screws were missing and they were unique which made it so tedious to put this together. My husband had to improvise with a different screw and use super glue to hold some parts together. It already is time consuming and then add to that missing screws, it wasn’t pleasant at all. I wish they would just throw in an extra bag of screws- there wasn’t any extra nuts at all so if something got lost during packing or shipping, there’s zero back up. And then some portion in the front was scuffed up— I can live with it, it’s for my child anyway, but I wouldn’t have wanted to give it as a gift to someone else with the scuff marks on it. Good purchase overall. Beautiful looking kitchen and sturdy enough. If screws weren’t missing I’d have given a 5

    Happy Toddler, Happy Parents

I was on the fence purchasing this product. I am not a fan of MDF products and I steer clear of all MDF products for my child. They have to be solid wood for me to buy them. But play kitchens made from solid wood are almost non existent and the ones that do exist cost hundreds of dollars if not more than a thousand. Not many parents can swing that for their kids and I am one of them so I had to cave. After several months of research I decided to give this one a chance since it met all of the other criteria makes I needed for her. (Interactive buttons, a “working” microwave, a refrigerator with ice dispenser, lights and realistic sounds, a designated prep counter, etc). I still don’t love that this play kitchen it is made from MDF. HOWEVER, this product is so well designed and the assembly process thoroughly thought through that I didn’t have the usual snags in assembling other MDF products which compromised their structural integrity. There is no compromise in structure with this play kitchen. It is very sturdy and will hold up to the way toddlers play. I feel very confident and safe with my 2 year old playing with it. It is fun and interactive keeping her interested. She already role plays while engaging in play with the kitchen (in 2 year old fashion) which is amazing watching that part of her brain develop.Things to consider, which at first I was not thrilled about, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5:1. The dimensions on this listing are incorrect. I purchased this mostly because I was expecting the counter to actually be 24 inches high. IT IS NOT. The stove counter height is around 20″ and the sink and prep counter are 18″. The other dimensions seem to be more accurate. I guess I should have deduced that the counter would have been lower based on the overall height, but the listing really should be corrected. So, it is SMALL, much smaller than I was wanting. My daughter is 2 and almost the size of a 4 year old. I was hoping for a kitchen that could grow with her for several years. After watching her play with it and light up with joy, I let the height issue go because her happiness was way more important than my wants in this and I think she will still play with it for a few years at least.2. The sink and the cook top do not screw into the counter. This isn’t a huge deal, but I think for added safety I would have rather had them be screwed down or held down somehow. Thankfully my daughter doesn’t know they come out otherwise all she would do is pull them out.Overall, this is a great play kitchen and worth the effort and money. I would recommend having two people assemble, you can do it alone, but it makes some of the pieces a little easier to put together if there are two sets of hands.
