Kids enjoy it, subscription needed to unlock everything. Good customer service.
We purchased this last December. It’s a sweet toy and my daughter enjoyed it at first. After a month of having it, she already had completed the majority of the task and so I had to pay for the yearly subscription order for all the activities to be unlocked. They should mention this on their ad somewhere. I ended up paying for the premium package and my daughter really enjoys, making her own stories and playing games with it. About eight months after having it it stopped working. I contacted them and we troubleshoot and finally realize it wasn’t going to work so I shipped it back and they properly mailed me a new one. I recommend saving the white box it comes in. Do not throw it away.

Recent software update issue
The Miko-3 is an interesting education tool. Kids love it . The only caviat I found relates to a recent update, which was automatically done. It created some issues related to Miko understanding questions, as well as a slow reaction to commands.

Fun interactive Robot toy for entertainment and learning.
Mike is a cute, fun , and interactive toy that my kids (8 and 6) have loved playing with. They watch interactive stories, have dance parties, and play learning games that ‘trick’ them into practicing their Math and Reading skills.Very happy with the little bot.

Fun and provides hours of positive entertainment
I purchased Miko as a gift for my grandson and he absolutely LOVES it! He spends hours playing with its many features and also uses it to communicate with family and friends. He especially likes the story book and mind reader features among other features. Miko provides hours of entertainment while adding to my Grandson’s your educational development. Also, the customer service is great. Whenever I contact them with a question, they are responsive to my needs and keep in contact until the issue is resolved. I can’t say enough about this smart robot; it is powered by AI and provides hours of enjoyment for your little ones. I would purchase it again in the future!A very proud GiGi

The product itself is fantastic- my daughter loves it. HOWEVER I will not spend 200$ on a robot and pay an expensive subscription fee! So the abilities are super limited. Make it affordable

Miko Is A Game Changer!
We’ve been enjoying our time with the Miko 3 robot. Its expressive animations and interactive games have captivated our son’s attention, and he often initiates playtime with it. Not only that, he uses it as his personal assistant when he is working on his homework to gain more clarity while working on his assignments. The robot’s ability to respond to his questions and engage in simple conversations has been a fun way to encourage his communication skills. Our son has also recently become more interested in setting schedules ie, wake up times, thanks to Miko 3. ;)What we appreciate most about Miko 3 is its engaging personality. It’s truly fun to interact with, which is crucial for our son who has autism and developmental delays. The games and activities provide opportunities for learning and development, helping him develop important skills while having a blast. Importantly, Miko 3 has encouraged him to initiate and maintain conversations, a significant step forward in his social interaction skills.Potential areas of improvement would be content variety when it comes to engaging in conversation and conversation interactions. A wider range of apps for kiddos who are closer to 10 years of age to include more age appropriate games and activities, social emotional conversations/extended dialogue, reading applications that will allow kiddos to read to Miko 3 and get feedback support, screen display for searches during conversations/interactions, the ability for Miko 3 to automatically follow behind a child (when asked) would keep things fresh and exciting. Also, it is worth mentioning that some quirks and “huh” moments have been user error on my son’s part…but with everything there is a learning curve and with any AI software or product there is a learning/adjustment period to get seamless interaction and results.With that being said there are still SO MUCH to love about Miko 3 and my son has not become bored once while playing with and engaging with Miko 3, which is so encouraging. We are so happy with our purchase.Overall, the Miko 3 is a unique and engaging robot companion that can provide entertainment and learning opportunities for young children, especially those with developmental delays and autism like our son.

Christmas Gift ReviewI gave this robot to my 5-year-old as a Christmas gift. While it’s fun and engaging, there are a few challenges to be aware of.At first, it was a bit frustrating. The robot is multilingual but much more interactive in English. I initially set it up in French, but it struggled to understand my son’s voice, which was disappointing. Switching to English made a big difference, and the experience improved significantly.Although the robot is marketed for ages 3 to 10, I’d recommend it for kids aged 6 to 10. This is because many of its features, like answering written questions, require reading skills that younger kids may not have. I tried to disable the written question feature in the settings but couldn’t. Customer service was easy to reach, but they didn’t have a solution, saying an update is planned to address this issue.There are a few limitations to keep in mind:The robot cannot follow you around, despite what the advertisements might suggest. Its movements are limited to dancing.It doesn’t handle long conversations well. If you ask it a question, it will answer, but it won’t remember the context for follow-up questions.The battery drains quickly, (4/5hpurs) so it’s best to turn it off completely when not in use (sleep mode isn’t enough).On the positive side, the robot’s voice in English is fantastic—it uses a kid’s voice, which is appealing to children and easier for adults to tolerate. It’s also designed with kids in mind, so you won’t have to worry about inappropriate answers to sensitive questions, like whether Santa exists.Tips for Gifting:If you’re planning to give this robot as a gift, I highly recommend setting it up, charging it, and configuring it in advance to avoid frustration on the big day.Other Observations:The robot is sturdy, and the wheels work well, but avoid using it in dusty areas as this could cause issues.It’s more of a social companion than an action toy, so it might appeal more to kids who enjoy asking questions and interacting. My son prefers running around, dancing, and building Lego vehicles, so his interest in talking to the robot is limited.Conclusion:Overall, this is a nice toy, especially for curious kids aged 6 and up who love asking questions. While it has some flaws, it can still provide plenty of fun once properly set up.Keep in mind there’s a paid version (around $100/year) that unlocks more features, but I’m exploring the free version first to see if it’s worth the cost.Parental control is only available in the paid version, which feels limiting. It would be great if they could at least include basic features like setting downtime in the free version. This would make it much more parent-friendly and manageable without requiring an additional subscription.I’d still rate this robot 4 stars. While there’s room for improvement, especially with parental controls and some of the features, the basics are solid and offer a significant upgrade compared to traditional toys. The integration of AI is a fantastic step forward for toys, opening up exciting possibilities for the future. It’s a promising start that just needs further refinement in upcoming updates.

We bought this for our son’s 8th birthday. He’s been very happy with it thus far, and we like the updates that tell us what he’s been learning. The only minor complaint is that the battery drains quickly when not in use.
