So easy to take apart …
A real challenge to put together!I received this teaser for my birthday. The orb is made of a soft, blonde wood that is nice and smooth. Too perfect to be disturbed, I admit it stayed in the box for a week. Next it graced my desk for a time. Now and then I picked it up and poked the pieces. Some of them slid a little, but none opened the puzzle. Each slice is tightly placed to maintain the near perfect sphere. Whew … it was a sort of relief that it didn’t fall to pieces.I will take it apart one day to test my skill. Until then it remains a conversation piece, and ice breaker, my lovely blonde orb.HA!! One evening I was on Amazon.com looking for a gift for my grandson and came across my birthday orb. The description reads that the solution is on a paper in the box. Hmmm … there was no solution sheet in mine. I wonder if my son removed it to make his gift a bit more daunting.

Nice-looking
We got this for our 9-year-old’s birthday. It’s a good challenge at first, but still fun even after he’s figured it out. And it looks good. Warning – some parts are fairly thin, so it could break if you get rough with it.

It is smaller than expected, but still worth the price.
It was smaller than I expected but will suffice. It was a gift to someone else, so I don’t know how well put together it is.

Great brain teaser!
I’m always searching for hard puzzles for my 15-year-old grandson to figure out. He had a great time with this one.

Difficulty
I have not been able to get it apart to try putting it together. Great puzzle. Would make a great stocking stuffer. I think I’ll buy a couple more.

Not AT ALL easy for little kids to do, and even for adults it is super challenging
This puzzle is VERY tricky! If you have a person in your life who loves puzzles, here is a challenge/gift for them. It took my dad (family puzzle lover) a long long time before he figured it out, and then he was able to teach me. My 5 year old does love piece puzzles but it’s too advanced for him right now.Wooden pieces are made very well and fit snugly together (exact fit!). Ball when fully assembled is close to the size of a baseball.

Fun fiddle toy. Well made
I bought this as a gift for my fiance who likes to keep his hands busy. He has taken it apart and put it together several times already but still enjoys it. I will probably need to get him a more difficult one later. But when I tried it, I needed a lot of help, so as far as its difficulty, it probably depends on how many of these sorts of puzzles you have already done. It is easier if you take it apart first, so you understand how it works. If you want to give it as a gift and challenge that person more, my fiance recommends giving it to them disassembled so they have to figure out how the pieces fit together from scratch. Some kids (~10 years old) were trying it, but it was extremely difficult for them and they quickly gave up on it so I wouldn’t recommend it for younger kids.

Fun to play around with when you’re bored and need something to occupy your time. I would buy again.

Very nice puzzle
I’m afraid to take it apart because I am not sure if I can get it back together. But in time I will give it a go.
