Amazing watch for kids connecting to parents
As a parent of three, I can’t say enough good things about the Bark Watch. My oldest is getting to that age where independence is important, but I still want to know they’re safe — and this watch makes that possible. 💛The setup was super easy, and I love that it has location tracking, safe messaging, and even call features without giving them full access to a smartphone. It gives me total peace of mind knowing where they are and being able to reach them anytime. The design is sleek and comfortable, and my child actually wants to wear it, which is a huge win. 🙌 The battery life has also been impressive — it easily lasts through busy school days and after-school activities. If you’re looking for a safe first step before a phone, the Bark Watch is worth every penny. It gives your child some freedom while keeping you connected and in control. Highly recommend!

Good value and quality
This is perfect for young child or child of special needs. Enough for them to feel like their peers to have a phone but nothing on it to put them in danger. Love that she can reach me at anytime as well as I can track her at anytime. Battery lasts 6:15am till 3:30pm. It also has girly accessories as well as screen covers you can buy on Amazon which make the watch better. It’s easy to use and easy to set up. Best buy this year!

⭐️ EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED!! ⭐️
The media could not be loaded.
I’m so glad we got the Bark Watch for my 6 year old. Setup was quick and I had it working in just a few minutes. The GPS is really accurate and updates fast, which gives me peace of mind when my child is at school, activities, or even just playing outside. I love that he can call or text me anytime, and I can reach him right away too.It feels like the perfect step before a phone. There are no distracting apps, just the safety features we actually need. The watch is comfortable, my son likes wearing it, and it’s held up through playground time and even getting splashed with water. The battery lasts all day with no problem. As a mom, it gives me so much peace knowing he has a safe way to stay connected. If you’re looking for a first device that’s both kid friendly and parent approved, this is it.

Great smart watch for elementary age kids
I’m really pleased with the Bark Watch. It’s very easy to use, and I appreciate the built-in safety features – no internet or social media access, the ability to track location, and control over contacts. The texting feature can be a bit tricky due to the tiny keyboard, but my son works around it by sending audio messages instead. The included watch band isn’t the most durable- it broke fairly quickly – but we were able to find stronger replacement bands at a low cost.Overall, I’d definitely recommend it for kids in mid-to-late elementary school.

Best option to keep tabs on kiddies than giving them a cellphone ✨
Works as described: Calling, texting our son after school, keeping tabs on location through GPS… My son even started keeping track of his steps, which is a feature that motivates him… Set up was straight forward & uncomplicated… Battery life could be better… No available App on Android/Google Store, but hopefully that’ll change in the near future…..

Five Stars for Bark
As a mom, my top priority is keeping my kids safe online while still giving them the independence they need, and the Bark Technology Watch has been an absolute game-changer! Unlike other smartwatches, Bark gives me peace of mind with its built-in parental controls, real-time GPS tracking, and safe messaging features. I love that I can easily monitor my child’s activity without being overly intrusive, and the fact that it filters content and alerts me to any concerning messages or searches is a huge bonus. The setup was super easy, and my child loves wearing it—it’s stylish, comfortable, and gives them the feeling of having a “grown-up” smartwatch, without the risks that come with unrestricted internet access. The call and text features allow them to stay connected with me and approved contacts, which is perfect for school, playdates, and after-school activities.

Great for my 7 year old
I love that with the Bark Phone Watch, I can always reach my 7-year-old, but no one else can unless I allow it. The GPS tracking and parental controls give me total peace of mind, knowing exactly where she is and who she’s communicating with. It’s simple for her to use, durable, and free from distractions like social media. No random calls or messages—just safe, reliable communication. If you’re looking for a way to stay connected without giving your child a full smartphone, this is a perfect choice!

Overall, good kids watch that gives us peace of mind (now receiving OTA updates)
Pros:* Incredible GPS accuracy: I can see my son running laps at his school’s play field and I’ve learned exactly where his classroom is on campus. Quite impressed with the real-time accuracy of the location reporting.* Phone calls are very clear and sound good* Text messages and multimedia messages work well* Bark integration and cost savings are a plus. Since we were committed to paying for Bark Premium anyway (other kid and other devices, the addition of this watch does not really increase our monthly costs — since Bark Premium is included.Cons:* As others have reported, battery life is not great. We definitely have to put it on a charger every night and on some (longer) days I’m afraid it might run out before our son is home. For peace of mind, I’ve purchased an additional charging cable and put it in my child’s school bag (in case of emergency). I’m hoping a future software update might help this* No group text messaging — only one-to-one. This would be nice, but not a show stopper.* No step counting (also would be nice, but not a huge deal). I think I read this is on Bark’s wish list for future enhancements.* Wish there were more accessories available — like a tempered glass screen protector (found a 3rd party soft-film protector on Amazon, but would prefer glass better)Overall, I’m satisfied with it and with the included Bark Premium service (for all our kids), it eliminates the recurring costs that a competitor’s watch would bring.UPDATE: As of late Feb, watch has received a couple of OTA updates and battery life has improved. In addition, a step-counter was added, which is a nice bonus.

A Great Low Tech Option for Younger Kids
We got this to help our 8 year old start developing some independence. He is just a little skittish out in the world and doesn’t like being alone. Ever. I wanted him to get used to being at home for 10-15 minute periods by himself while I pick up his siblings from school, BUT we are big on no screens in our family. We believe in more independence in the real world and very little independence with technology. My husband has a flip phone so we needed a watch that didn’t require an app to text. We also wanted one with very limited functionality and heavy on the parental controls. This has been fantastic so far. We’ve had it for about 2 weeks. An added bonus is that he loves “cold calling” his grandparents and auntie. During pre-approved hours, he loves calling and leaving them audio texts.Something I didn’t realize would be so helpful was the screening of all texts for questionable content. I got a notification when he texted his grandma for the first time and she wrote back “who is this?” The notification said he might be texting someone unknown, but that was cleared up quickly. It gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing he can have some privacy, but if anything is dangerous, I’ll know about it. Since the contacts are put in by me and very limited, I wasn’t worried to begin with, but this extra fail safe has been fantastic.Set up was super easy and fast. The only trouble we’ve had is when he’s been playing hard and sweating, he’ll plug the watch in and it won’t charge. It tells you it’s slow charging and to clean the sensors, and when he notices, he does it and it’ll charge fine. But he’s 8 and won’t often notice. I have issues with silicone bands causing chemical burns on my watches, so I got him a nylon band on amazon which he likes and allow him to find a comfortable fit. The watch face itself is quite large.Overall we are so happy with this purchase and I have already recommended it several times.

Great watch when you aren’t ready for a phone!
This is a great device for easy communication with your child, especially if you are not ready for them to have a phone. My daughter is 11 and becoming more independent but not ready for the responsibility of having a phone. She is able to message me when she is out in the neighborhood so I have an idea of where she is. The watch also tracks her so if she forgets to let me know, I can still see where she is. I have configured the watch so she can’t play with it during the school day or after bedtime. It’s a great watch! I would have given 5 stars except the battery life is pretty limited. The watch dies fairly quickly by the evening and needs to be recharged. This could be from overuse by my child or just a weak battery.
